Toyota Experts Conduct Feasibility Studies for Investment in Zambia

Experts from Toyota in Japan are in the country to conduct feasibility studies on investing in Zambia.

Commerce Minister Chipoka Mulenga says this follows President Hakainde Hichilema’s official visit to Japan last month.

Mr. Mulenga says the energy experts are currently engaging with ZESCO and other stakeholders.

Speaking during ZNBC’s Sunday Interview, Mr. Mulenga said that in the next few years Zambia will be energy sufficient.

Mr. Mulenga also mentioned that progress has been made with the installation of equipment at Mulungushi Textiles in Kabwe.
