MWAMBA’s no-show costs sureties K10,000 each

Patriotic Front-PF- faction information and Publicity Committee Chairperson EMMANUEL MWAMBA’s sureties have been fined 10,000 Kwacha each.

Lusaka Magistrate AMY MASOJA fined BONIFACE CHIBEKA and BONIFACE CHIPASHA following Mr. MWAMBA’s persistent failure to appear before court.

This is in a matter where Mr. MWAMBA is charged with disorderly conduct at the Police Station.

On February 05, 2025, Magistrate MASOJA issued a bench warrant against Mr. MWAMBA and ordered Mr. CHIBEKA and Mr. CHIPASHA to ensure the availability of the suspect in court on March 5, 2025.

However the two together with the police officer failed to execute the bench warrant by yesterday leading to the imposition of fine on them as a penalty.

Meanwhile Mr. MWAMBA faces another bench warrant issued on February 06, 2025 by LUSAKA Resident Magistrate TREVOUR KASANDA.

This is in a matter where Mr. MWAMBA is charged with assaulting a police officer and occasioning him bodily harm.
