Police told to Probe Employer who Sexually Abused Employee

Government has asked Police to investigate a case in which a named female in Solwezi was sexually assaulted by her employer after making a loss of 13,000 Kwacha at work.

And, Labour Minister Brenda Tambatamba has cautioned employers against abusing female workers when they error.

Speaking when she addressed women, Ms Tambatamba further advised women to report cases of sexual harassment to the Ministry of Labour and Social Security or to Police.

She further warned that violence against women in the work place will NOT be condoned.
