
People Pay Last Respects to General Chisuzi

People from all walks of life has gathered to pay their last respects to former Army Commander General Isaac Chisuzi who is being buried today.
A church service has been held at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Lusaka in honor of General Chisuzi who died on Monday at Maina Soko Medical Centre in Lusaka.
Government has been represented by Tourism Minister Rodney Sikumba.
And speaking during the homily, United Church of Zambia Presbytery Bishop Lordwell Siame said General Chisuzi led a simple life despite having once served at the helm of the army.
Dr. Siame urged mourners to emulate the life of General Chisuzi by being humble and patriotic.
He urged General Chisuzi’s family to mourn with hope and put their trust in God.
Meanwhile, brother-in-law of the late General Chisuzi, Chance Kabaghe described the late former Army Commander as a unique and simple man.
Mr. Kabaghe said that the late General Chisuzi was a great man who was availed himself for his family.
And General Chisuzi’s niece, Lieutenant Colonel Priscilla Katoba described him as one of the best Generals to have served the country.
General Chisuzi will be laid to rest at Memorial Park in Lusaka.
