HH visits Cardoner Prayer Garden

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has visited the Cardoner Prayer Garden in the Chikuni Mission of Monze District.

The Cardoner Prayer Garden is a historical place where the first Jesuits established Chikuni Mission in Zambia.

The Mission is the mother of all Jesuit Ministries and Apostolates in Zambia.

And, Fr. ELPIDIUS KALYEPE who gave President HICHILEMA a conducted tour of the garden said Cardoner prayer garden is a place where people reflect on faith and morals.

Fr. KALYEPE further said the Mission has responded to President HICHILEMA’s call for a green environment by planting and preserving trees in the Prayer Garden.

President HICHILEMA was gifted a Prayer booklet for reflection in the garden at the end of the conducted tour.

President HICHILEMA was in Monze to attend the celebrations of 120 years of the Chikuni Mission.
