ZAMSEED Develops Army Worm Tolerant Maize Seed Variety

NAIS -ZAMSEED has developed an Army Worm tolerant  maize seed variety.

Agriculture Minister, REUBEN MTOLO has since thanked ZAMSEED for the development, saying it will safeguarde farmers’ crops.

Mr MTOLO has said this in Lusaka on wednesday , when he officiated at the ZAMSEED Yield Improvement Centre Field Day.

And ZAMSEED Board Chairperson, JORDAN SOKO says the company will continue collaborating with government in ensuring farmers have access to improved seed varieties.
