Court hears how a Father sexually abused his daughter

A woman, of Lusaka’s Garden House, has today narrated in court, how her husband of 23 years had canal knowledge of their 19-year old daughter, while she was attending an overnight prayer meeting.
The woman has testified before Lusaka Magistrate, AMY MASOJA that her daughter told her that the accused threatened to kill her if she disclosed what had happened.
The accused allegedly committed the offence on dates unknown but between December 1, to 31, 2023.
The woman has testified that the daughter informed her that her father was also fond of touching her breasts and she begged that he stops it.
She further said the daughter has a disability, and her husband has failed to sponsor her education.
In this matter, the woman’s husband is facing 4 counts of incest and indecent assault.
Allegations in count one are that BM on dates unknown but between December 1, and 31, 2023 did have canal knowledge of MM a female person knowing the same to be his biological daughter.
Magistrate MASOJA has since adjourned the matter to April 22, 2025, for continuation of trial.
