Govt Service Bus handles K5bn in transactions

The Smart Zambia Institute  has processed 4.5 million  transactions over the past three years on the Government Service bus -GSB.

Smart Zambia Institute National Coordinator PERCY CHINYAMA says the transactions were worth 5 billion Kwacha in revenue.

Mr Chinyama says the Institute hopes to have all Government services on one platform in the next few years.

Speaking during a media briefing in Lusaka today, Mr. CHINYAMA said the Government network has significantly grown since 2021 with a coverage of 778 sites.

And, Smart Zambia Government Chief Technical Officer KASALI MUSENGE said that Government’s digitization agenda is about people and making their lives easy.
