
Clerk ROY NGULUBE’s Body Arrives Home

The Body of the Clerk of the National Assembly of Zambia, ROY #NGULUBE has arrived in the country ahead of burial on Monday, April 14, 2025.
Mr. NGULUBE died in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on Monday this week, while on duty with #Speaker of the National Assembly NELLY MUTTI at the 150th Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly and related meetings.
Members of Parliament, family members and friends received the body of Mr. NGULUBE which arrived aboard the Emirates at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport today.
And speaking in an interview shortly after consoling the Widow BETTY and Children, Ms MUTTI said the National Assembly of Zambia mourns with the family during this difficult time.
Ms. #MUTTI said the death of Mr. NGULUBE is not only a blow to the National Assembly of Zambia, but the country at large.
She said Mr. NGULUBE, was a pillar of the National Assembly and contributed to the smooth flow of Parliamentary debate.
Ms. MUTTI thanked the Government of Uzbekistan for rendering support, while in that country during the difficult time.
And Leader of the Opposition ROBERT #CHABINGA said the death of Mr. NGULUBE leaves a huge gap in the National Assembly, especially during a time when he was handling various reforms in parliamentary sessions.
Mr. NGULUBE’s funeral service will be held at the Anglican Cathedral of the Holy Cross on Monday April 14th 2025 at 08:30 hours.
Burial will be at the Memorial Park in Lusaka.
