Govt to establish solar plant at Central Vet Research Institute

(NAIS ) Government has contracted China Jiangsu International Green Energy Limited to establish a solar plant at the Central Veterinary Research Institute -CVRI- in Chilanga District.

The 7.7 million Kwacha 200 Kilowatt Solar Project is aimed at addressing power challenges at the animal research institute.

Speaking during the official site handover ceremony, in Chilanga, Fisheries and Livestock Minister, PETER KAPALA said thecompany and pledged to deliver quality works, within the period stipulated in the contract. solar plant will improve animal disease diagnosis.
