All Hospitalized Mpox Patients Discharged

The Zambia National Public Health Institute -ZNPHI- says the country is still at risk of recording more cases of #Mpox.
ZNPHI Assistant Director Emergency Preparedness and Response PAUL ZULU also says all the patients that were admitted for Mpox have been discharged.
Dr. ZULU says currently, about 18 patients that the Institute is following up are under home isolation.
Speaking in an interview with ZNBC news, Dr ZULU said the country has also not recorded any cases of #COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
He said even with the people who have tested positive for Covid-19 in the recent past, the institute has observed that most of them do not require hospitalisation.
Dr. ZULU has however expressed concern at how people are practicing self medication as a means to cure Covid-19.
