Mulobezi to Report CDF loan defaulters to Police

Out of 65 individuals that benefitted from the Mulobezi Town Council Constituency Development Fund-CDF- loans between 2022 and 2024 only three have repaid the loans.

Council Assistant Public Relations Officer, ELVIS MULEYA says the defaulting beneficiaries have been written to and warned that they will be reported to the police if they do not pay back by April 26,2025.

.Mr. MULEYA has told ZNBC news in a telephone interview that there is a low recovery rate of CDF loan money from beneficiaries despite sensitisation efforts by the council.

He has also encouraged CDF loan beneficiaries to repay for more people to benefit from the empowerment facility.
