
Mumbwa Businessman arrested for theft for 1,500 bags of Fertilizer
Two suspects have been arrested in Lusaka in connection with the theft of over 1,500 bags of fertiliser from Export Trading Group -ETG- in Lusaka.
The theft happened from the company’s warehouse, between 18 hours on April 20, 2025, and 06 hours on April 21, 2025.
Police Assistant Public Relations Officer, GODFREY CHILABI says the suspects include the driver of a truck, which transported the fertiliser and a Mumbwa-based businessman.
Mr CHILABI says police have also recovered 366 by 50 kilogramme ETG-branded bags of Urea fertiliser, which were found at the businessman’s shop.
He has identified the suspects as SYDNEY MUMA, aged 47, the truck driver, and ANDREW HAMUNJI, aged 38, the businessman.
