Govt Commissions bridge in Lunte
Government has commissioned two acrow bridges in Northern Province which have been constructed at a cost of 15.9 million Kwacha.
Infrastructure Development Minister CHARLES MILUPI says this is aimed at ensuring enhanced socio-economic development and improved livelihoods of communities.
Mr MILUPI has also assured that the government remains committed to improving the road network and bridges.
Mr MILUPI said this in Lunte when he commissioned the bridge.
Northern Province Minister LEONARD MBAO said the province and Lunte has continued to receive its fair share of development.
And Road Development Agency Board Chairperson MULCHAND KUNTAWALA said the agency embarked on a program to install Acrow bridges across the country to improve connectivity.
And NFRA Board Chairperson NOEL NKHOMA urged the community in Lunte to continue working closely with the government as it embarks on improving their wellbeing.
