Govt determined to develop all parts of the country

(ZANIS) Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO says government is determined to ensure that development reaches all corners of the country.

Mrs. NALUMANGO says government will work with traditional leaders to deliver the much needed development to the people.

The Vice President says it is pleasing to note that traditional leaders are willing to partner with government in delivering national development.

She says government has prioritized investment in the education sector as witnessed through construction of education infrastructure supported by the free education policy.

Speaking when she paid a courtesy call on Chief CHIBWIKA at his palace in Mwinilunga district on Saturday, Mrs. NALUMANGO said as a product of free education herself, she wants young people to be inspired by her story.

And Chief CHIBWIKA thanked Mrs. NALUMANGO for honouring his invitation to grace the event stating that her presence gives the rural girl children hope that they can reach greater heights in life.

Meanwhile North Western Provincial Minister ROBERT LIHEFU said the people in the area are delighted with government’s massive developmental activities being implemented in the region.
