WP to Vaccinate 400,000 cattle
Four hundred and eighty two thousand cattle are expected to be vaccinated against the Contagious Bovine Pleuropneumonia CBPP in Western Province.
Western Province Minister KAPELWA MBANGWETA also noted that 250 cordon guards have been employed to man the CBPP Cordon Control Line alone the international boundary with Angola.
Mr MBWANGWETA said this in a speech delivered on his behalf by Permanent Secretary for Western Province SIMONO AKAPELWA.
This was during the Western Province Agricultural and Commercial Show.
Mr MBANGWETA further said that the Government has procured Agricultural Equipment, for the six established Centers of Excellence for Mechanisation in Western Province.
