Law Association to offer Free Legal clinics

The Law Association of Zambia says mobile legal clinics will be set up to provide free legal services to participants and the general public during the upcoming LAZ marathon.

LAZ Vice President MATILDA KAOMA says the marathon is scheduled to be held on the 27th of July 2024 in Lusaka and Ndola with the theme ‘mental wellness and justice’.

KAOMA said this in a speech read on her behalf by LAZ Honorary Treasurer WOMBA KANKONDO during the LAZ activation run ahead of the Marathon.

She says the upcoming marathon is more than just a race but a movement and collective effort meant to bring about positive change.

KAOMA says the runners will be running for those who struggle in silence and fight every day for their mental well-being.

She has further urged the runners to use the platform to start conversations, break down stigma and support one another.
