Zambia, Zimbabwe Moot 24-Hour Border Operations

Zambia and Zimbabwe are in talks to make the Victoria Falls Border post between the two countries operate on a 24 hour basis.
Tourism Minister RODNEY SIKUMBA says this is in a bid to enhance business as well as make passage of tourists easier.
Mr. SIKUMBA says there has been growing concerns from stakeholders about the closure of the border post especially from travellers and tourists.
He was speaking in Livingstone during a stakeholders’ engagement with operators in the tourism sector.
And Livingstone Tourism Association –LTA- Chairperson SHAUN WHEELER highlighted some of the challenges the sector is facing especially under the current energy crisis.
