DEC keen to probe K13.5bn Transaction

The Drug Enforcement Commission -DEC- says it is committed to investigating the 13.5 billion Kwacha suspicious transaction captured in the 2023 Financial Intelligence Centre Report.

DEC Public Relations Officer ALLAN TAMBA has also confirmed that DEC has received the 2023 FIC Report.

Mr. TAMBA told ZNBC News that DEC is studying the report before launching investigations.

And Institute of Internal Auditors of ZAMBIA Spokesperson SAMMY MICHELO has called for quick investigations into the 13.5 billion Kwacha suspicious transactions.

And ActionAid ZAMBIA Country Director FAIDES TEMBATEMBA said the possible culprit of the 13.5 billion Kwacha suspicious transaction must be brought to book.
