Mubanga happy with drug availability in rural health centres

Small and Medium Enterprise Development Minister, ELIAS MUBANGA says the government is happy with the availability of drugs in most rural health centres in Nakonde district, Muchinga province.

Mr MUBANGA said this when toured some of the health facilities, among them Mipulya Health Post.

And Mipulya health post nurse, GETRUDE NALUNGWE informed Mr. MUBANGA that the facility is well stocked with all essential drugs.

Ms NALUNGWE however said the facility is in need of a labour ward.

She said currently the facility has an improvised labour ward to enable women deliver at the facility.

And Mr MUBANGA assured the residents of Mipulya that he will engage the health Minister to facilitate the construction of a labour ward.
