GED Africa to deliver Kasomeno-Mwenda Toll Road Project on time
GED Africa has assured that Kasomeno-Mwenda Toll Road Project will be delivered on time.
Speaking during the three-day Bilateral One-Stop Border Post Design Review Meeting in Lusaka today, Chief Executive Officer, KLAUS FINDT said the construction of the 184 Kilometer Kasomeno-Mwenda road is scheduled for completion by June 2026.
And HAMED JAVAHERI, from Rankin Engineering Consultants, said the bilateral meetings provide an opportunity to advance towards full-scale works after resolving outstanding One-Stop Border Post and toll plaza design aspects.
Meanwhile, JEAN -ERIC BENOIT from Egis Operations S.A.S, said there will be automated traffic and axle-load control on the Kasomeno-Mwenda Toll Road, which is being undertaken through the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model of financing.
