ECZ registers 8,012 voters in June

The Electoral Commission of Zambia- ECZ -has registered 8,012 voters in the month of June 2024.

Of the number registered 4,324 are males while 3,688 are females.

ECZ Corporate Affairs Manager, PATRICIA LUHANGA says Mkushi recorded the highest number of registered voters in the month of June, at 1,008 while Monze recorded the least at 33.

Ms. LUHANGA says this brings the cumulative total number of registered voters for the period January 2023 to June 2024, to 68,455.

Of the total number register 35,554 are males and 32,901 are females.

And Ms. LUHANGA told ZNBC News that currently, the Commission conducts continuous Registration of Voters in 30 districts.
