Rwanda donates maize to Zambia

Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO has assured the nation that no Zambian will die of hunger despite the maize deficit in the country.
Mrs. NALUMANGO says government is making frantic efforts to increase maize supply in the country.
She said this in LUSAKA today when she addressed Food Reserve Agency –FRA- casual workers at Mwembeshi FRA shed after unveiling one thousand metric tonnes of maize donated to ZAMBIA by RWANDA.
Earlier, Mrs. NALUMANGO thanked the Rwandan government for the gesture.
At the same function, RWANDA’s High Commissioner to Zambia EMMANUEL BUGINGO said his country stands ready to support ZAMBIA’s endeavour to bridge its maize deficit.
