Transfrontier Conservation Area Memorandum of Agreement signed

Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique have signed a Transfrontier Conservation Area Memorandum of Agreement.
The agreement was signed by President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA, President of Zimbabwe EMMERSON MNANGAGWA and President of Mozambique FILIPE NYUSI.
And President HICHILEMA says the Memorandum of Agreement will address matters pertaining to improved livelihoods of people living in proximity with wildlife.
President HICHILEMA who was represented by Tourism Minister RODNEY SIKUMBA at the signing ceremony said wildlife knows no boundaries and will settle where food and security is guaranteed.
He said the signing of the ZIMOZA agreement presents a golden opportunity for the three countries to enhance sharing of knowledge and expertise.
President HICHILEMA said the establishment of the agreement is a testament of continued shared determination in pursuit of environmental sustainability.
