China Civil to handover water and sanitation Project

China Civil Engineering Construction Company – CCECC- will this September hand over a water and sanitation project in Mansa, Samfya, Mwense and Kawambwa.

The project will service over 300,000 households.

The Integrated Small towns Water Supply and Sanitation project has been funded by the African Development Bank.

CCECC Managing Director YANG QU says the project is nearing completion at most project sites.

Mr QU who led Water Development and Sanitation Minister COLLINS NZOVU through a tour of sites in Mansa, Samfya and Mwense says despite challenges in meeting the initial project deadline, works are on course.

And Mr NZOVU has expressed confidence in the company’s ability to finish the works in September this year.
