Nkandu praises FNB for promoting fitness

Government says it will continue to partner with the corporate world to promote physical fitness.

Speaking during the second edition of the FNB Kopala Marathon in Kitwe, Sports Minister ELVIS NKANDU said such events contribute to talent identification.

NKANDU has since praised organizers for their inclusiveness in this year’s event as it has incorporated differently abled participants.

He has further called on FNB to partner with the tourism sector since the event also attracted foreign participants.

And FNB Chief Executive Officer KAPUMPE CHOLA says the marathon has grown over 50 percent with over four thousand participants taking part.

Meanwhile, Kitwe Mayor MPASA MWAYA has encouraged Copperbelt residents to participate in such events to promote health.
