Revoke promotions of improperly promoted professors -HEA

The Higher Education Authority -HEA- has given all higher learning institutions a 30-day ultimatum to rescind or revoke promotions of professors who were improperly promoted.
HEA Acting Director General MARTIN MUSHUMBA says such promotions are in contravention of established guidelines.
Dr. MUSHUMBA says the authority has observed a number of under-deserving individuals bestowed the title of professor in higher education institutions and cannot be overlooked further.
He told ZNBC news that failure to comply with the directive will result in punitive measures taken against non-compliant institutions.
