43-year-old Chipata man murdered

A 43-year-old man of Jimoli section in Msekera area in Chipata District has been murdered and robbed of a bicycle and a 20 kilogramme bag of mealie meal.
ISHMAEL DAKA was allegedly murdered on his way back home from a nearby grinding mill yesterday.
His body was found a few metres from his house this morning.
Both Eastern Province Police Commanding Officer ROBERTSON MWEEMBA and uncle of the deceased RONALD DAKA confirmed the incident to ZNBC News.
Mr. MWEEMBA said police have since launched a manhunt for the suspects.
He has appealed to the public to work with the police in ensuring that the suspects are brought to book.
