IBA declared a crime scene and cordoned off
The Independent Broadcasting Authority -IBA- offices have been cordoned off and declared a crime scene following the killing of its former Director General, GUNTILA MULEYA.
Ministry of Information and Media Permanent Secretary, THABO KAWANA says police are guarding the premises around the clock.
Speaking when he addressed IBA workers at Mass Media Complex in Lusaka, Mr. KAWANA said IBA employees should cooperate fully with police and other investigative wings.
He said IBA employees will not be allowed to use their offices until further notice and will temporarily operate from the ZNBC Cinema Hall.
Mr. KAWANA also urged members of the public to refrain from spreading false information about the IBA incident.
He assured that his Ministry and the police will provide daily updates to curtail misinformation.
