Nawakwi forced us to appeal against HH -Hatembo

A witness has testified that opposition Forum for Democratic Development leader EDITH NAWAKWI forced her and her brother to appeal after losing a case where President Hakainde Hichilema was accused of dubious acquisition of their land.

PHELUNA HATEMBO has also testified that Ms. NAWAKWI encouraged her and her brother MILTON HATEMBO to sue President HICHILEMA, for allegedly acquiring their KALOMO farm in 2020.

President HICHILEMA was an opposition leader during at the time.

Ms. HATEMBO has testified that Ms. NAWAKWI promised that she would buy cars and provide money for her and brother MILTON upon actualising the land suit against Mr. HICHILEMA.

She was testifying before LUSAKA Magistrate ARMY MASOJA.

This is in a matter where Ms. NAWAKWI is charged with abduction and threatening violence.
