KAWANA cautions reckless drivers
(ZANIS) Information and Media Permanent Secretary, THABO KAWANA has cautioned drivers not to engage in reckless driving on the road.
Mr. KAWANA says careless driving calls for stiffer punishment that include dismissal from work.
ZANIS reports that the Information and Media Permanent Secretary was speaking when he presented certificates to 21 participants who undertook a short course in defensive driving and security awareness.
The training was conducted by the Institute of Local Government Entrepreneurship and Research Consultancy Limited, in partnership with the Ministry of Information and Media.
And Institute of Local Government Entrepreneurship and Research Consultancy Limited Director JONAS LUMBALA praised the Ministry for supporting the initiative.
