ZAF Helicopter attracts attention at Africa Aerospace and Defence Expo

Zambia Army Commander, GEOFFREY ZYEELE says the Africa Aerospace and Defence Expo currently underway in South Africa has provided a platform to learn new trends.

Speaking in South Africa, Lieutenant General ZYEELE is happy that the expo is in line with President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA’s directive to have the army modernised.

And Zambia Air Force Commander Lieutenant General OSCAR NYONI says the ZAF Enstrom 480B helicopter being exhibited at this year’s event has attracted attention.

Lt. General NYONI says the aircraft is a valuable asset as it has advanced operational capabilities such as looking out for poachers when deployed to protect wildlife.

This is according to a statement released to ZNBC News by the First Secretary for Press and Public at the Zambian High Commission in Pretoria TAMARA NYIRENDA.
