The Anti – Corruption Commission -ACC- says students and members of the public are benefiting from the properties which have been forfeited to the state.
ACC acting Director General MONICA MWANSA says the commission has engaged different government agencies to manage some of the forfeited properties such as Farms and Apartments.
And a check by ZNBC News at the Altitude Apartments in Lusaka’s Silverest found the apartments being used as a boarding house for students.
Ms. MWANSA said the apartments are being managed on behalf of the commission by the Hostels Board of Management, under the Ministry of Tourism.
She said the commission is working with other government agencies to manage other forfeited properties countrywide.
Meanwhile, Altitude Apartments Manager FANNY NG’ANDU said local and international students are accommodated at the apartment.
