ACC nabs Senior Metallurgist at FQM Trident Limited

The Anti Corruption Commission -ACC- has arrested a Senior Metallurgist at FQM Trident Limited for soliciting 10,000 United States dollars as a reward for facilitating the award of purchase orders.

STEVEN MUZIPO, 33 has been arrested and charged for corruption.

ACC Head Corporate Communications TIMOTHY MOONO says Mr. MUZIPO solicited for 10,100 dollars between 1st March 2024 and 14th September 2024.

Mr. MOONO told ZNBC News in a statement that the suspect is alleged to have received 2,000 dollars as a reward for facilitating the award of purchase orders to Tumelo Africa Zambia Limited.

He added that the said orders were for the supply of A10 Flocculant to FQM Trident Limited, a private entity.

Mr. MUZIPO has been released on bond and is expected to appear in court soon.
