“Adopt entrepreneurship in curriculum”
By Wilson Mulinda
Ministry of Education Permanent Secretary JOEL KAMOKO has challenged youths to equip themselves with a mindset and skills to become job creators rather than job seekers.
Mr. KAMOKO has also called on higher learning institutions to adopt entrepreneurship as a core component of their curriculum.
He says the spirit of self-reliance and initiative is the heartbeat of the country’s economic resilience.
Mr. KAMOKO said this in a speech read on his behalf by Director Early Childhood Education CHARM KALIMBIKA during the 15th graduation ceremony of DMI St. Eugene University.
Meanwhile, University Chancellor JESUDASS ARULRAJ said the university was founded with a vision rooted in Christian values.
And, DMI St. Eugene University Council President THOMPSON ANANTH said the university will continue awarding scholarships to learners which underscores commitment to inclusive education and equal opportunities for all.
