
Boy Rescued from the Jaws of a Crocodile

A 12-year-old boy has survived a crocodile attack on the Lunzi river in Chama district, Eastern province.
The incident happened Monday in Vilimukulu area, while the boy was swimming with freinds in the river.
The survivor, MAKO ZIBA, of Tindiza village in Chief CHIKWA’s area, was rescued from the jaws of the crocodile by his 2 friends, aged 12 and 15, respectively.
Vilimukulu Ward Councillor, ROBERT KUMWENDA has told ZNBC news that the boy was later rushed to Chigoma Rural Health Post, where he received medical attention and was discharged.
