Energy expert JOHNSTONE CHIKWANDA says the monetary payment model will encourage more consumers to consider becoming net metering customers
Dr. CHIKWANDA has highlighted that households supplying excess electricity to the national grid will now receive actual monetary payments rather than mere credit notes.
He has praised the government for the recent clarity provided during the Public-Private Dialogue Forum regarding net metering in Zambia.
Dr. CHIKWANDA has called for actionable measures to ensure smoother implementation of renewable energy projects, which are key to diversifying Zambia’s energy mix.
