CBU Unfinished hotels to get attention
Government will soon resume construction works on the unfinished Copperbelt University hostels.
New Copperbelt University Vice Chancellor Professor IMASIKU NYAMBE says the government has promised the University of a solution to the accommodation challenge through the completion of the stalled hostels.
Speaking during a press briefing in Kitwe, Professor NYAMBE said that the university is waiting to hear from the government as to when the contractor will be on site.
He also added that the University remains committed to stay as one of the best learning institutions in the country that meets the demands of industry.
Professor NYAMBE said that his vision is to see the university walk a new path of innovation and lasting solutions to the challenges facing the country.
He says Copperbelt University will have to prioritize research and offer quality training to its students by partnering with industry players.
