CDF turns street vendors into Livestock farmers
A twenty thousand kwacha grant under the 2022 Constituency Development Fund has transformed the lives of former street vendors in Livingstone.
The former vendors who are now operating under a cooperative ‘Faithful Mind”, have grown their seed money under village banking.
They have also ventured into piggery farming with a hope of being major pork suppliers in the city.
Cooperative Chairperson, CHARLES BWALYA says CDF has changed people’s lives in various communities and has encouraged beneficiaries to be self-sustaining.
