CHABINGA recognized as a distinctive visionary Leader of the Year

Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly ROBERT CHABINGA has been recognized as a Distinctive Visionary Leader of the Year at the Global Leadership Forum in London, United Kingdom.
The award acknowledges individuals, who demonstrate exceptional leadership and vision in driving positive change in their countries.
The Patriotic Front -PF- Media Team says Mr. CHABINGA’s award is a testament to his outstanding leadership and vision in promoting Zambia’s digital transformation.
The PF Media Team notes that his National Digital Transformation Strategy aims to create a digital economy by integrating digital technologies across all industries, with promising results already seen in digital financial services and platforms.
The Party adds that as Opposition leader, Mr. CHABINGA has emphasized the need to address digital access gaps and provide digital literacy programmes to equip citizens with necessary skills.
The Media Team further said he has also called for government subsidies and incentives to reduce the cost of digital devices and internet services for low-income households.
The Global Leadership Forum includes notable figures such as UK Member of Parliament BELL RIBEIRO-ADDY and former President of Mauritius, AMEENAH GURIB-FAKIM.
