Chief CHAMUKA praises HICHILEMA’s cultural support

House of Chiefs Vice-chairperson Chief CHAMUKA says government has created an enabling environment for traditional ceremonies to thrive.

Chief CHAMUKA says traditional ceremonies promote peace, unity and social cohesion in the country.

He has also praised President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA for attending traditional ceremonies.

The Chief was speaking when President HICHILEMA paid a courtesy call on traditional leaders on the sidelines of the 2025 N’cwala traditional ceremony at Mtenguleni in Chipata.

And President HICHILEMA assured traditional leaders that government will continue supporting traditional ceremonies.

He called on traditional leaders to promote peace and unity to enhance development in the country.

President HICHILEMA said no one should be allowed to divide the country.
