Chief Chitimukulu Thanks Govt for Support after Death of his son

ZANIS-Paramount Chief CHITIMUKULU of the Bemba people has thanked the government for the support it has rendered to him and his family following the death of his son KANYANTA KANYANTA SOSALA.

Paramount Chief CHITIMUKULU said this when Northern Province Deputy Permanent Secretary BEAUTY PHIRI paid a courtesy call on him at his palace in Mungwi.

Paramount Chief CHITIMUKULU acknowledged the government’s swift response and assistance during his difficult time.

The traditional leader’s son died of Meningitis.

Northern Province Deputy Permanent Secretary BEAUTY PHIRI said the government conveys its deepest sympathy to the Paramount Chief and the Bemba Royal Establishment.

Ms PHIRI was in Mungwi to attend the burial of the late son of the Paramount Chief.

KANYANTA KANYANTA SOSOLA, 23, died on Thursday morning after a short illness.
