Chief Magodi Calls for Climate Change Policies in Chasefu District
Senior Chief Magodi of Chasefu District has called for the implementation of policies to reduce the effects of climate change.
Senior Chief Magodi says climate change has had numerous negative effects on the farming community.
He made these remarks during the Lundazi tree planting exercise organized by the Empowering Farmers Foundation in Lundazi District.
Chief Chikomeni of Lumezi District has also called for a multi-sectoral approach in fighting climate change.
Meanwhile, Empowering Farmers Foundation Programmes Manager Kennedy Nyambi said over 116,000 trees will be distributed in Lundazi District.
