
Chilubi gets adequate stocks of ARVs
All 21 health facilities on CHILUBI Island in Northern Province have adequate stocks of antiretroviral drugs.
Chilubi Island District Pharmacy In-charge SAVIOUR MUSONDA, says the facilities have more than three months of stocks, which he has attributed to timely delivery..
Mr MUSONDA was speaking during a check of some health facilities on the Island by the Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency – ZAMMSA.
And Santa Maria Mission Hospital Acting In Charge CATHERINE KABWE said the availability of drugs has enabled the hospital provide quality health services to the people despite the geographical location of the hospital.
Ms. KABWE praised government for it’s efforts in lifting the standards of the health system in the country.
Meanwhile, ZAMMSA Senior Corporate Communication Officer, ENOCH LUSOKE said the Agency will continue to prioritize the health of the people.
