Chipoka Pleased with Chingola Cooperatives
Chingola Member of Parliament CHIPOKA MULENGA says a number of cooperatives in Chingola have followed President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA’s guidance to get involved in agriculture.
Mr. MULENGA says it is good that the cooperatives that got startup capital from the Ministry of Community Development have grown their agriculture businesses.
He said this when he was informed that the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services has re-invested over 800,000 Kwacha generated from the 2022/2023 rain fed paybacks under the food Security programme in Chingola District.
And District Community Development Officer GRACE MUTALE said four hammer Mills have since been bought for Mutenda and Muchinshi Wards in Chingola.
Ms. MUTALE said more farmers are expected to benefit from the program.
