Chipolopolo aims for win

The Chipolopolo will this evening host Sierra Leone in the 2025 AFCON Qualifiers group G encounter.

The match will kick off at 21:00 hours at the Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola on the Copperbelt .

Both teams are looking to brighten their qualification journey having started on blunt notes with Zambia losing away to Ivory Coast 2-nil while Sierra Leone played to a goalless draw with Chad.

The return of defender BENEDICT CHEPESHI and midfielder KELVIN KAMPAMBA to the squad is a huge boost to the team as Coach AVRAM GRANT will have enough talent at his disposal.

Despite the team’s poor start, GRANT is expected to make minimal changes to the team that faced Ivory Coast.

And Coach GRANT said the target is to ensure the team wins this evening’s game as it is critical for the team’s quest to qualify for the 2025 AFCON tournament.

Sierra Leone Coach AMIDU KARIM said they are in Zambia to collect maximum points.
