Construction of mini-civic centres in Lusaka resumes

The construction of the mini-civic centres in all the 7 constituencies of Lusaka district has resumed.
Local Government Permanent Secretary for Administration, MAAMBO HAAMAUNDU says the works, which started in 2021, stalled due to lack of funding.
Mr HAAMAUNDU says the Kanyama and Matero civic centres are complete and will be opened to the public soon.
He has disclosed that the civic centres, which are being constructed at over 8 million Kwacha, will decentralize service for people in respective communities.
