
Critical Minerals, Partly Key to Zambia’s Growth – HH

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says Government is working to deliver long-term prosperity for Zambia.
President HICHILMA says the plan is partly anchored on the utilisation of critical minerals.
He said this during a high-level conference in Lusaka today, bringing together top executives from major mining companies to discuss the development of Zambia’s critical minerals sector.
The President said by uniting industry leaders; government is forging an industry that powers a stronger economy that benefits every Zambian.
The conference, supported by the Brenthurst Foundation was aimed at unlocking investment opportunities, promoting sustainable development and elevating Zambia’s role in the global supply chain for critical minerals.
The meeting focused on capitalizing on the growing global demand for critical minerals, essential for the production of electric vehicles, renewable energy technologies, and other high-tech applications.
