DANDY KRAZY under observation after successful surgery

Musician WESLEY CHIBAMBO also known as DANDY KRAZY has undergone a successful surgical operation at the University Teaching Hospital-Adult in Lusaka, following an accident he was involved in last evening on the Great North Road.

In a statement to ZNBC News, UTH Public Relations Officer NZEBA CHANDA said Mr. CHIBAMBO is being observed on how he is responding to treatment.

Ms. NZEBA said Mr. CHIBAMBO sustained serious injuries in a tragic road accident that happened on December 31, 2024 at around 19:00 hours on the Great North Road.

She said Mr. CHIBAMBO was evacuated to UTH from Kabwe Central Hospital in the early hours of today.

Meanwhile, Police Spokesperson RAE HAMOONGA said the driver of the Shackman truck that caused the accident has surrendered himself to the Police.

Mr. HAMOONGA said the man identified as HACHALWA LWEENDO, aged 28 presented himself at Luanshimba Security Checkpoint, where he voluntarily submitted to law enforcement officers.

And Central Province Police Commissioner, CHARITY MUNGANGA said the four people who died in the accident are yet to be identified.
