Davies Chama found with case to answer

Former Defence Minister DAVIES CHAMA has been found with the case to answer in a matter where he and another person have been charged with acts intended to cause grievous harm.
Mr. CHAMA and his co-accused BRIAN NYONI have been put on defence by MONGU Resident Judge JOHN MBUZI.
Particulars of offence are that Mr. CHAMA and Mr. NYONI on June 06, 2015 in MULOBEZI District of the Western Province, jointly with intent to maim, disfigure or disable allegedly wounded MUSHAUKWA MUSHAUKWA, a UPND member.
Mr. MUSHAUKWA was allegedly in the company of former Sesheke Member of Parliament SIYAUYA SILILO during the ordeal.
Mr. MUSHAUKWA and Mr.SILILO were allegedly in transit taking food and campaign material to the UPND camp in MULOBEZI, during campaigns for the 2015 MULOBEZI Parliamentary by-election.
